Blogs : DICKINSON PRESS IS CLUELESS OR DISHONEST

By:

According to the Dickinson Press: “Blunt’s severance package approved by the WSI board needs to be formally challenged as a direct violation of state law. The board was completely out of bounds in approving this severance package, given the reported conversations between Blunt and Indvik and Indvik’s own comments about Blunt’s performance.”

Too bad that they did not take the time to research the actual law that applies to WSI:

WSI is not subject to the state’s human resource management services (ref. N.D.C.C. Chapter 54-44.3, N.D.A.C. Chapter 4-07, http://www.nd.gov/hrms/); instead, WSI has the authority to establish its own system of personnel administration:

N.D.C.C. § 65-02-01.2. Organization to establish personnel system. The organization shall

establish a system of personnel administration for its employees based upon principles and methods to be determined by the organization and governing position classification, pay administration, transfer of employees, discipline of employees, and removal of employees.

I am beginning to think that this type of press is no accident anymore. There seems to be a purposeful misrepresentation about the facts of all WSI circumstances. With all that has been publicly disseminated, this level of dishonesty is no accident.
