Data : WSI EMPLOYEE SOUNDS OFF
By:
Dear Mr. Cates,
I would like to express my opinion about the few powerful, greedy, morally objectionable lawmakers who have deliberately conspired to initiate this travesty on WSI employees and Sandy Blunt.
Law enforcement officers and other officials like judges, prosecutors and elected officials have been given tremendous power by local state and federal government agencies - authority they must have to enforce the law and "ensure justice" in our country. Preventing abuse of this authority, however, is equally necessary to the health of our nations democracy.
The public counts on its law enforcement officials to protest their local communities. If its shown that an official or officials willfully conspired and failed to keep an individual from harm, that official or officials could be in violation of a federal law statute pertaining to several constitutional amendments. It appears to me that Sandy Blunts constitutional rights have been violated.
Being a Democrat all my life, as have my family, for many generations, I am totally embarrassed. This incident has made me question whether I want to support a political party that doesnt think twice about deliberately conspiring to destroy a persons life and career for hidden agendas. What happened to "do unto to others as you would have them do unto you." I dont believe that all ND democrats fall into this category, but those who go along with this travesty and do not stand up for what is right are just as guilty - not being part of the solution makes one part of the problem." To those democrats, just remember that the bible says you reap what you sow and for sure, you have at least one less vote.
I have heard that some lawmakers did not like Sandy Blunt and I have heard that this whole travesty is bigger than Sandy Blunt. Some say that no matter who sat in the WSI CEO chair - the outcome would have been the same. Thats SCARY! Perhaps I dont understand politics, but, without a doubt, I understand that I dont want those who conspired in this travesty to represent me nor be in a position to pass laws or judgement..
People need to wake up and fight for whats right because anyone can be next. And, given the lack of morals and fairness displayed here, even those participating can become victims.
And, lets talk about "ND journalism." It is my understanding that journalism is supposed to be about pledging your allegiance to fairness. It is apparent that the major newspapers in ND have allegiances to other principles and principalities. And while the reporters are miscuing their own principles, their editors are even more shameless in their activism by advocating one-sided causes to the point of demagoguery. What or who are they afraid of? What happened to reporting the truth?
We should encourage businesses to stop buying ads in these newspapers and encourage the good, law abiding north dakotans to cancel all subscriptions, perhaps it will shock them into finding and printing the truth.
Mr. Cates, I respect your ability to see through this conspiracy, but mostly, I respect your integrity & courage to expose the demagoguery of the self-proclaimed and morally corrupt protectors of our society. Thanks for telling the truth.
